I’m a self-taught painter and mother from Los Angeles! I grew up in Marina Del Rey/Venice. I started seriously painting in 2019. I’ve always loved art, going to art museums and the local art walk in my neighborhood. My studio is currently in Marina Del Rey. 

The main medium I work with is oils, I’ve always been drawn to oil paint and how versatile and vibrant it is. It can be thick or thinned down to a water-like consistency.

I learned to paint mostly by trial and error and experimenting. Seeing what works together and what doesn’t based on things my eye likes/is drawn to. I've also learned from studying other's art and their styles and techniques. I'm always learning!

I have the pleasure to have sold paintings to customers from around the country as well as people from outside the country. It is very special to know my work connected with people enough to take a piece with them.

A good majority of my inspiration comes from the images I see in day-to-day life that catch my eye, the emotions I and others feel, and life experiences. I draw heavily on black culture and black women. I enjoy versatility, being able to have multiple different styles, different techniques, textures, and colors!
